>>222780674The show kinda gets better in Season 2, when it tries to - a little bit - to go into the characters and what their flaws and such are.However at the same time the season introduces some very stupid scenarios a cyber attack to another hospital and now they have to work without computers? Come on now, that is just DUMB.At same time for me; i don't even mind the pandering 'houlier than thou' writing; but the script just misses every opportunity for actually have character developments and crisis. Santos is a horrible asshole; she even calls a father a pedo in his face. She carries no 'punishment' for this, no one tells her how she is in the wrong, nor is she even prosecuted.Samara or whatever indian-looking woman also is never wrong with anything. Even her only 'flaw' is presented as a 'quirk' (she is hard working to a fault so she dangers the patients).This all gives a big money shot when Dr. Robby actually goes postal on the doctors and calls them out for being incompetent (except Samara of course, he was crossing a line there :)).The atmosphere and pacing of the series is great tho, i just really wish they'd actually let us know the characters more.t. screenwriter
