>>222782396It's hard to express why this movie sucks so bad. It's like there's this quality that most movies has that this just simply lacks. Stuff just slides from one scene to the next without a sense of poetic logic. Even though on paper the plot might make sense if you lay it out, there's just something about the pacing or editing of the actual film that rips away any potential to hold my interest. I don't really know how else to explain it other than it just doesn't "flow" properly.

>>222786419It has so many ingredients of kino, but yeah it just falls flatter every time I watch it, doesn't matter which version. I will say however that people who cry that it killed off certain characters they liked were just being childish. There's some timeline out there where Alien 3 is actually good and that's still part of it.
