>ZERO long term cultural impact

They have a hell of a lot more impact that anything since JJ and Kurtzmann.
>>
What's got you fags so salty about Real Trek today?

It gets better with time.
There is a list of episodes you can skip every season but i cant seem to find it in my star trek folder.

She probably also graduated after the Stargazer was lost, which means TNG S1 uniforms.

I mean the thing it ripped off didn't have much cultural impact tbqh
Doesn't mean B5 wasn't peak
>>
>>222783583
Enterprise had potential in season 1 when they were EXPLORERS in a brand new virgin never-touched-by-Earthmen galaxy but then the writers went all retarded and made it a MILITARY ship. What the fuck.

In space there is no 'up', so why isn't the Enterprise shown as flying around like this sometimes.
>>
>>222784243
Because it's a TV show. Also there is an "up" in space; the galactice plane clearly has a Z-axis.
>>
>>222783676
Imagine if they had cast a babe.
>>
>>222784243
A rare thing I'll give JJ credit for is that he showed more awareness of space being 3D and had some shots of the Enterprise flying upside down relative to the camera.

So this is the desperation JJKurtzman Trek fans are trying to resort to for arguments
>>

Yes, the uniform makes no sense, but i still would have dicked down a young janeway.

Janeway almost certainly would have worn this uniform after graduation.

Fun fact: she graduated with Geordi and Will Riker.

Voyager is better than DS9.

>There is a list of episodes you can skip every season
A list of episodes you shouldn't skip would be shorter.

>>222789957
If contracts weren't so binding, they should have found a way to kill off VOY and move the good characters to DS9.
>>
>>222789957
7of9&doctor episodes > DS9 > TNG > VOY > ENT > literal feces > PIC > STD > etc...
>>
>>222788770
TNG has a better core cast but DS9 has better supporting characters.

Sisko is a weirdo and can't really compete as a leader with Picard for example, but Quark, Garak, Gul Dukat, Weyoun, etc are all such interesting, multi-faced characters and TNG can't compare on that level.
>>
>>222790065
Pretty much, the acting of a lot of characters on DS9 is on another level compared to other trek shows.

voyager is largely mediocre with some fantastic episodes but still better than everything that came after
enterprise is lame and mostly just recycled tng/ds9/voy plots i dont get why /tv/ loves it so much

DS9 is conflicted at the very least. The gay space communism of other Star Treks isn't present, scarcity and money are very real elements. Immigrants are shown repeatedly causing problems, and the number one solution is usually "Sisko finally relents and allows Odo to use illegal levels of force".

Hell, Dukat is initially presented as Space Hitler before receiving seasons of increasingly sympathetic characterization before they finally, awkwardly, and noticeably yank him back to Space Hitler. Jews receive direct critiques from the Ferengi and Bajorans also. I get the sense that rightist writers were being repeatedly checked by leftist executives.
