It's one of those films that are utterly retarded but that I still enjoy.
It has a rare quality of just focusing on the procedure of something's operation. We need more movies that do that. Particularly that's what I want from science fiction - give me a movie that is mostly a designed and realized space ship being operated and maintained with some character stories happening amidst it.

Mistake was not making it a 5 hour movie starting in the Split Crow in Halifax and ending wherever they made port in England.
