Why do TV chefs think eating and cooking slop makes them philosophers and that their opinion on life matters?
>>
Because professional chefs are alcoholics and/or drug addicts

Has Firefox still not fixed their screenshot tool? Jfc

Elevating slop elevates themselves.

>cue nonsensical rant about Henry Kissinger
>>
everyone who becomes famous thinks that being famous makes their opinion matter.
>>
Hanging out with poor third worlders was an ultimate flex back then.
>>
>>222784382
it's pretty cool that we don't have to travel halfway across the world to have that sort of experience anymore
>>
yeah they plop some sauce on a plate and pretend it's a work of art, they call it
Dollop Artin'

heh
>>
>>222784382
to be fair everyone thinks their opinion matters. It isnt really their fault media publishes the shit they say because the drooling fucktards in media ask them the questions to begin with to print things that appeal to even more retarded droolers that read the shit (mostly women I am guessing).

Better that than goyslop from a soulless corpo chain in some flyover state strip mall.
>>
>>222784157
bourdain was not a tv chef. he was a failed chef who became a travel journalist.
>>
Being well.to.do and a bon vivant allows you the privilege of experience more life and a perspective.that working class people dont get. Working minimum wage and putting up sheet rock gives you a bleak outlook on life.
>>
>>222784157
If you had millions of people hanging on your every last word you'd think your opinion was important too. You aren't as incorruptible as you think you are.
>>
>>222784157
The moment you locked in while doing something (drawing, writing, even stirring a pasta in your pot) in silence, your mind will start to talk to you directly and that's when something like self reflection, aware over your existence, pondering about life, etc comes to the surface

Why do /tv/ users think posting rageshit makes them philosophers and that their opinion on life matters?

I don't even like the guy. Watched some of it and got some bits here and there from this board and he was a massive faggot, the AIDS like. I guess that's why he has such a huge flock of followers here.
>>
>>222787703
how was he a failed chef rather than someone who discovered they were really good at some other thing? most chefs would quit immediately if they could even do a fraction of what he did
>>
Have a boyfriend.

Have two.
>>
>>222787905
failed is probably too strong. he had an okay career even if he didnt make it to opening his own restaurants. but he was never a tv chef. he didnt cook on his shows. he didnt teach people how to cook. he didnt officiate a cooking competition. he just flew CIA assets around the world and made moderately interesting travel documentaries as a cover.
>>
>>222784157
Why did he kill himself?
>>
>>222788191
>old rich white guy
>exclusively hanging around Thailand and other sex tourism destinations
>looks like Epsteins brother
>only there for the food
Guilty conscience maybe? He could have had any arthoe he wanted but no that Italian slut was his world? I don’t buy it.

Lol. In SEA, it's the joints under the tree next to the car workshop that are the most delicious. They're also usually the cleanest too at least for the food. Why? If the customers fall sick, they'll come back later and beat up the owner. You yankees only eat food made in factories using the cheapest fake ingredients made by robots and you deign to call our food slop? I pity you.
