Agree. The fall-off wasn't too bad up to that point. OP's right though, 3-8 was perfect (Frank's Brother aside), but I still enjoy 9 a lot.

season 5 is the peak.
season 3 - 7 is the absolute best.
season 1 and 2 are funny but the show is still trying to find its identity.
season 8 and 9 are still good but the show gets slenderized.

after season 10 the show becomes hit or miss, gets stupider each year, and eventually turns into slop. and
i cant believe its still airing btw.
i am 28 years old and this show preiemired when i was in elementary school. i was a die hard fan of it in high school in 2014. i stopped watching new seasons back during season 13.

The season with the Christmas special was possible the best one. It has all the classics. But I would not neglect season 1-2 , there is so many good episodes establishing side characters like cricket and the mcpoyles.
