OP here. Can you guys actually make it through the trailer without laughing? There’s so much unintentional comedy that I can’t wrap my head around it all. First off, it appears to be a musical, but the song he’s singing won’t even exist for another 170 years. We got Jorah acting his heart out on a line that I just find ridiculous. I mean, I know the drummers helped men march and move in a coordinated manner, but did the drummers really hold some special place in their hearts? Also, isn’t “Drummer Boy” more “Drummer Man of Fighting Age” here? And him stepping out there into no man’s land and ON MYYYYY DRUUUUUM-ing is just the icing on the absurdist cake to me. When I saw this trailer play at the movies last weekend, I thought it was fake, like one of those from Tropic Thunder. I was legitimately dumbfounded.
