How does not cutting a pizza possibly save any money at all?The cutter couldn't be simpler to use or maintain and takes less than one minute to use for someone with practice.
>>222791806>He didn't tell her he killed 3 people at that point in the showHe already very strongly implied that he had committed murder, with that "I am the one who knocks" scene. Also Skylar isn't retarded. She knows her husband is a drug kingpin and that they live right next to the Mexican border. The odds that he's involved in that trade and *hasn't* killed someone are the same odds as going to an orgy at a furry convention and not contracting an STD.
This scene is so unrealistic. Women are insanely turned on by murderers.

>>222791768Walt was so pathetic even at the height of his powers
>>222792027>The notion that all of Walt's actions are ultimately for the good of his wife an children carries weight in ChinaBut they aren't! Walt literally says, in the show, "I did it for me. I was good at it. And it made me feel alive.". They could not have spelled it out more plainly for the audience. He rejects the offer from Gretchen and Elliott to pay for his treatment because of his ego. He fucks up his arrangement with Fring because of his ego (well, also Fring was probably trying to replace him with Gale, that might have been self-defense). He keeps pushing and pushing and pushing well past the point where he has enough money to pay for his cancer and take care of his family for several lifetimes, because of his ego. Genuinely don't understand how anyone could watch the show and come away with the idea that Walt was doing it for his family. He did it for himself. It's obvious in the story, and he literally says it, practically into the camera, for anyone too dumb to have already noticed.
>>222792137
>>222792200in china the line was changed to "i did it for the CCP and to further our glorious nation of China"
>>222792200>i was good at something, and enjoyed itwomen really do hate how little it takes for a man to be happy.
>>222792152under normal circumstances, maybe, but walter was not the weird quiet guy from the office. he was a teacher and member of the community. he was married with kids. he fucked. and on top of that he was a badass murderer drug lord worth over $80 million, all panty soaking qualities to a woman.
>>222792192>Walt was so pathetic even at the height of his powersIt's insanely funny that even as the most powerful drug kingpin in the entire Southwest, with a stranglehold on the entire North American meth trade, his wildest fantasy is buying his son a mid-range sports car and listening to dubstep in the driveway of a modest home in suburban New Mexico. >>222792248Walt was a brilliant chemist, and would have been happy at any job that actually respected his ability. He could have even swallowed his pride and asked Gretchen and Elliott for a job, or at the very least a recommendation. They were willing to cover his expensive cancer treatments, they surely would have been willing to hire one of the company's co-founders to some bullshit senior management position. But he was too much of an egomaniac to do that. He wanted to be the man and kill people or whatever.
>>222791944Za’ is za’
>>222792192That was half the brilliance of the show and it's a bit sad how little of the audience actually understood it. He's meant to come across as cringeworthy and ineffectual in the places he tries to flex, he's a suburban dad larping as a kingpin. That was the fun of it
>>222791806if he had she would've let him come inside
>>222792192I don't know how someone could possibly be this filtered
>>222791768the more the show the ran the less you liked skylar and jr, and the more you liked walt. it was like the opposite of what vince intended
>>222792192He had insane plot armor. He would've been dead by episode 2 if this were real
Kim is hotter than Skylar
>>222792412i didn't find myself liking walt any more. the last couple of seasons were a chore to watch.
>>222792359The "say my name" scene is the perfect example. It's objectively insanely embarrassing, a nerdy guy in a fedora adopting a weird alias and demanding people repeat it to him like he's a supervillain. And somehow half the audience twisted it into some epic badass moment.
>>222792476i agree up until a certain point the returns are diminishing but there's still enough of an underlying reason for us to continue to "cheer" for him throughout the series
>"I funded Ted."
>>222792563>I sat on ted and made sarah connor face from T1 your move walt
>"Skyler, I shrunk the kids!"
>>222792200>Walt literally says, in the show, "I did it for me. I was good at it. And it made me feel alive."The show had to add several moments like this extremely late where the writers try to desperately twist the audience into hating Walt because they accidentally made him too likable. Mike's spergout is the exact same shit, he's completely full of shit but because the scene is set up to make him look authoritative and like he's finally putting Walt into his place the redditors just eat it up and then retroactively convince themselves that Walt's heckin ego was actually the only problem ever.

>>222792192>>222792359It's funny how the only parts where he actually comes across as a badass are where he is being honest to himself and to others.Mainly the>Stay out of my territoryand>I did it for meHonourable mention to the whole Gale address scene where he completely turns the table from being scared shitless to smug as fuck.
>>222795320Truth is, they like it for a little while but it gets old very quick and they want a non threatening softie who they can push around. It´s about taming the beast, not living with the beast forever
>>222796150>they want a non threatening softie who they can push around. They want that when the beast goes away to fuck another dumb young woman and they realize they're getting old and want to settle no matter what. It's not about them failing to "tame the beast", it's the beast getting bored of fucking the same woman that gets uglier by the day.Yes they'd like for the beast to change and be their Prince Charming, but that is a future reserved only for the top Stacies, which are even fewer than Chads. The rest gets pushed aside to scrape for the betabucks.
