Millennials really love to goon to nostalgia. They sound so much like boomers these days

Movies are still great. You're just older and jaded and obsessed with social wars so you see a bunch of shit that isn't there.

I would prefer to go back to a time when they made films for grown adults instead of infantile trash.

>first movie is about a cop going undercover in street races
>now it's about guys dropping cars from orbit and driving up/down the sides of buildings while fighting drug lords
Has any other movie franchise escalated to an absurd degree more than Fast & Furious?
You got Vin again with Riddick, going from a guy with weird eyes in a survival horror setting to god-emperor of the galaxy in the span of 3 movies, but I think I'm tapped out after that.
I think if you gave Ip Man two more movies he for sure would've been Earth's representative fighting an alien to save humanity from destruction

I was raised in a very white rural area and I never got much experience interacting with nonwhite people. When I got to high school, I had to go to a school in the inner city. It was a big culture shock and I had to be very careful that my country ass did not say anything retarded or act out of the ordinary. So I decided to be Paul Walker.

To this day, when I'm around people of any ethnicity, I just act like Paul Walker and everything has always turned out better than fine. I don't act like I'm trying too hard, I don't act uptight and nerdy, and I don't adhere to stereotypes. I just channel Paul Walker. I have genuine friends of many backgrounds to this day, and I credit those friendships almost entirely to him.

Watch the movies again. He is never once awkward, he is always gracious in victory or defeat, he is always polite, yet he does this without acting like a cuck. He instructed an entire generation of suburban whites on how to make friends and family in a diverse America. Without him, I would lack a lot of the friends I've made from other cultural backgrounds because I would simply not know how to initiate conversation or gain the slightest amount of respect from them.

Credit Obama if you want, but nobody has done more for American unity in the 21st century than Paul Walker and I feel as if there are people in Hollywood today trying very hard to undo all the good he has done for race relations. If you don't like Paul Walker you probably have some agenda to destroy the United States.

To be fair to Ip Man they *started* with the premise that he was almost singlehandedly responsible for repelling the Japanese invasion of China. By contrast, beating the piss out of a British wanker was a step down.

All those cool guys were older than I was when I watched these
Now it's 20 years later and I'm the old guy
I can't see guys like Tom Holland as anything other than some little kid going on 20
It's not like it was being a teenager looking up to Tom Cruise or some shit
And how's this for a thought experiment... who's the next zoomer Lee Marvin? Steve McQueen?Tommy Lee Jones? Sam Elliott? Kurt Russell?
It ain't coming, there's no pipsqueak whippersnapper that will ever compare or measure up.
