watching the new spiderman movie felt "tiktok" i dont know how else to describe it
haven't seen this, but i skipped a few Marvel films and watched Fantastic Four: First Steps.something i realised is that the whole movie feels like a montage. there are actual montages in the film (flashbacks, to speed through explaining things). but it's like scenes don't 'connect', as if they're eager to 'skip over' the boring stuff.a similar example is Star Wars. it was pretty cool they had downtime on spaceships. now characters just teleport. they'll go from one planet to another, and continue the conversation they were having.
