What did I think of it? What did you think of it? What were we supposed to think of it? I guess it was supposed to be a deep intellectual movie idk? I remember I gave up on watching it like 30 minutes in.

I liked it enough and it is beautiful looking, but it isn't exactly the spiritual masterpiece the trailer and the reviews make you think it is. I actually liked Knight of Cups and especially To The Wonder (which I consider to be Malick's best movie) a lot more.

I saw the CGI dinosaurs and I bailed. Didn't help that I despise Sean Penn

Too BIG. That 50's stuff was kino, the whole movie should've been just that. Less is more.
