This series was far too ahead of its time. I lived in London through the 2010s and this series was like a grim prophecy of the cultural landscape to come. I would meet people in various branches of the media business and be left with some strange sense of deja vu, then realise after the fact they were unknowingly playing out scenarios and archetypes from Nathan Barley.
