to this day i still don't understand when anons say david made them - like the fucking mural and the end of his 1st movie with the deacon coming out of the engineer proves that david didn't cook them up in a lab designing them - the good naturally creates that stuff while breaking other things down and changing them. yes it's played very loosely but david didn't make them, if anything he just created some sorta fork once he was on the engi planet - even the facehugger likely isn't his due to the monster in prometheus existing. the mold for those creates is there and they just changed based on some variables.
what i really wanna know is if there was some NEXT STEP for the aliens. one of the dropped plot lines in the OG alien was that it was a newborn and it was making scratch marks in the vents that would eventually turn into basic pictures or language as it was growing. from newborn to adult. obviously this was dropped but the films have dabbled with newborns before in their own ways so it isn't so far fetched. is there some possible combination of variables that would lead to a less hostile xeno of much higher intelligence or awareness
don't need a talking xeno but it would be interesting if that thread was ever picked up
