Tomorrow every copy of every movie and TV show changes.

Spoken dialogue becomes completely unintelligible. Subtitles and intertitles disappear too. Music, sound effects, cinematography, editing, performances and everything visual remain exactly as they were.

This is permanent. Future movies have the same restriction.

After 20 years of people reassessing the entire medium, which directors, actors and supposedly "great" films have gained the MOST reputation, and which ones have been absolutely fucking annihilated?

I'm convinced the accepted canon would become almost unrecognizable.
