I watched it, and I'm bisexual. So not absolute.

Not at all. Autists can't dream.

Felt like Malick directed by an AI

it's a sort of "america in a nutshell" type of film centered around an average working class white man who sees minorities being mistreated, minorities helping him, his family burned alive, and at the end realizing he's an old man in a modern world that has left him behind. it's like it's trying to tell you "don't get a family and don't work hard, none of it matters. you'll lose it anyways. just enjoy the bread and circus of the modern world and die." there was no character development. the main character simply gave up.

I watched the film while drinking whiskey. Even then, it was boring.
