What were they thinking with this design? I remember it pretty much killed the hype for the movie back in the day.

>>222809636I feel like this could have made for a more interesting conflict. Like maybe he is right. It would technically 'evolve' humanity into a stronger species. But there has to be a drastic downside. Like maybe only an estimated 40% or less of humanity will survive from exposure. The rest will have their lungs collapse and die. He's rushing the process instead of trying to make that 40% higher because he figures humans will kill him before he achieves his goal. Still better than the Michael Bay TMNT movies though. That first movie's plot I still barely understand outside of the villian wanting money.
>>222805725Something that always bugged me about this movie was how it completely cuts out Curt having a wife and son. Especially since this movie puts a lot of emphasis on Peter missing his dad. Could've had a whole different character angle and overall motif about fathers and sons
