Literally who asked for this? It's a needless sequel to a perfect film. It's The Godfather 2 all over again.
>>222807144>to a perfect filmA 6/10.
>>222807144I did
Heat 2 was a book that constantly referenced the movie and Michael Mann wanting to let the readers know that he knows technical jargon.
>>222807144>Literally who asked for this? It's a needless sequel It's actually a great book and makes Heat 1 even better because you understand these men and their motives so much more. I wasn't expecting to like the book as much as I did but there it is. Now the casting with Leo as Chris is odd.
The book is hilarious, like a half of it is Blackhat 2 but with even more retarded tech shit and ludicrous levels of yellow fever characteristic for Mann and the other section is basically what if Waingro starred in Irreversible
>>222809345>because you understand these men and their motives so much moremost of their backstories were present in the original scripttruly dishonest to just ripoff the script and write some prequel bullshit on top
>>222809345>understand men and their motives so much more>Neil never mentiones his wetback gf
>>222809276My favorite is when Val Kilmer's character gains access to super secret tech satellite tech that nobody in the world has, just a chink whose beautiful daughter falls for him has this tech and it's unhackable and gives you total control over earth and nobody has it or knows it just him who started off as a goon and impressed the boss so now he has access to goldfinger tier tech nobody can affect with anything and anyway let's go to LA I want to snipe a cokehead before heart attack does it for me
>>222807144Hollywood is a sponge to wring dry.No new liquid is going in.
>>222809482i've droppex it after thd sex scene which happens precisely at the dnd of first half but this sounds like pure alzheimer schizoludoand dion beebe is linked up... will be watching
>>222809435>most of their backstories were present in the original scriptIt's not in the movie (Heat 1) so what are you even talking about?>>222809439>Neil never mentiones his wetback gfThat part of the book is great and lets you know why he is the way he is in Heat 1.
>>222809705about the script for the movie Heat
>>222807144Michael Mann has a lot of ideas for films that won't get made unless he shoehorns them into a franchise sequel.
