It was the best scene in the entire saga prior to that LARGELY BECAUSE Vader was silent. He destroyed the emotional intelligence of that scene and Vader as a character, just so that he could make it "rhyme" with a much shittier movie, which should have been completely rewritten anyway. He couldn't make a third instalment of the prequels on the level of quality of Return of the Jedi, so he had to make Jedi worse. Fuck him for that.
