whats with the woke cast
>how do you go from posting on /pol to posting on /tv?/I usually take the Ferrari
>>222811593Where do I even watch this show? No fucking streaming platform has it
>>222812071Torrent. Just like how you watch everything else.
>>222811744nice try troll. all the casting made sense and was good. no DEI involved. IOW the opposite of today.
>>222811744LOLMiami Vice was a long time before woke and even before political correctness. The blacks were pre-rap era so they were not contaminated by "black culture" yet.
>>222812071Tubi
>>222812803This, I hecking love based black guys who don't fuck with that cRap music, and I hope my daughter dates one
>>222813736You need to have sex with a woman in her vagina to have children.
columbo shits on this show
>>222814116We are allowed to watch and enjoy both.
>>222812803>Jeanie Cusamano
>>222812803One fashion trend of the 80s that aged the worst was the boxy shoulder padding. Women's hair styles in the 80s were atrocious too, their bathing suits were kino though.
>>2228116363 is still good, it's just that's the point where you see the cracks starting to form.
>>222815399>Women's hair styles in the 80s were atrocious tooFAGGOT>>222814116>apples shit on oranges
>>222812803>The blacks were pre-rap era so they were not contaminated by "black culture" yet. There's entire episodes with black hippity blippity gangstersLike there's one with a drug pusher who drives a personal limo and dresses like a pimp, and another black kid who's trying to keep his nose clean to get into college to play football before he gets shot by black gang bangerspic rel, my adidas, etc.
>dem I bet synthetic suitsWas Miami in the 80s not as hot as it's today?
>>222813768That's the based magahat black man's job
>>222815655the iconic suit jacket is an armani linen suit jacketlinen is about as lightweight and breathable as it gets
>>222815655Im thinking about this constantly when I watch the show, everyone must be drenched in sweat 24/7
>>222816396I think about this in all movies and media set anywhere hot or humid. I live in a very humid place myself and couldn't imagine wearing layered long sleeved clothing during summer.
>>222816593No one sweats anymore in movies. Just another way that Hollywood retards ruin immersion because they're not used to life outside of fancy air conditioned buildings
>>222816708It pains me that we will never again have films on the same level of kino as Sorcerer.
For me, it's Jim Zubiena
>>222817000LEE IACCOCA! That man can draw!
>>222811636S3 still has some good episodes, but the good episodes are extremely few and far between.
>>222817022I'm on season 4 nowThis is the farthest I've ever made it
>>222816396They are. There's one episode where Tubbs bitches about it where they're waiting around and he's dripping in sweat, then there are just episodes in general where they're just visibly sweaty. >>222817057Brave. I've gone into S4 before but I've never touched S5, I don't want to see what Dick Wolf did to it when he got total control.
>>222811636S1-2 episodes:>A guy is dealing cocaine and needs to be busted>Some guys are killing dealers to rob them>A murder has happened and Sonny and Crocket need to solve it>Some guys are breaking into people's houses>Crockett and Tubbs struggle with the way their jobs affect their personal lives and their moralsS3-5 Episodes:>Crockett marries a rockstar and becomes a celebrity>the IRA is trying to blow up the concord in Miami>a south american dictator robs an army base and steals military superweapons>an insane drug dealer who talks to dolls is put on a secret trial by all the other dealers in a nightclub basement>Crocket gets amnesia and thinks he actually is a drug dealer, kills a bazillion people and is let off scott free>guy who was very obviously killed in s1 randomly comes back to life because fuck it people liked him i guess>Trudy gets abducted by fucking aliensWhy did they feel the need to abandon the formula that made them one of the most successful tv shows in history?
>>222817158*Crockett and Tubbs sorry its 2am
>>222817178Dick Wolf took over at the start of S3 and the original writers and showrunners started gradually departing during S3. It's why you still have some good episodes at random among all the shit ones (a lot are out of their original filming/writing order too, like how Crocketts destroyed Daytona reappears a few episodes after its destruction).
>>222817158I haven't seen Miami Vice but have it all downloaded and plan to start next week. Guess I'll delete everything beyond the first two seasons.
>>222817482Nah there’s some good stuff but there are ABSOLUTE STINKERS in seasons 4 and 5 that you just skip completely. Season 4 three-part finale was fun. Definitely watch season 3 and only keep going out of morbid curiosity.
>>222817243Fucking season 5 ep 17 was the shows finale and then there are like 5 or 6 episodes after that wtf
>>222817158a lot of shows escalate or go meta like thisthere's as many parody or meta commentary episodes of the x-files after season 2 as there are ones played straight
>>222817597That's called a "burn off" which is when a show ends before all the episodes could air and they had some left in the tank. Max Headroom also went out that way, with the final "burn off" episodes airing only in Australia for some reason.
>>222817482Keep the first 4 seasons but you could probably pretty comfortably wipe season 5.
