Is the second season of this worth watching? I found the first to be acceptable but lacklustre.

I found the first season to be decent, the characters are stock, the scenario and themes are what you would expect from a show about AI/androids, but the direction, acting, dialogue etc. were all a bit run of the mill you know? So I'm wondering if the show gets better or if it's more of what I just described. I'm guessing you haven't seen the show if this is your response, though, so what's the point?
