The Sneedsons died in the late 90s, by 2007 they were pretty much a copy of Family Guy. You could switch the Sneedsons movie Homer with Peter Griffin and it would be the same.

yeah, but in the movie its the emotional climax and homer's character development, so its not just a joke, homer is like a superhero in the third act who does something impossible.

One of my favorite memories is seeing the Simpsons movie with my dad and brother & the projector crapping out about 10 minutes in, so while we waited to catch the next showing they said we could walk in and watch any movie we wanted. Walked into the first five minutes of the first Bay Transformers movie which I had already seen but my dad & brother hadn't, and they both thought it was awesome.
Then we got to watch the Simpsons movie which was fun (but I think they like Transformers better), then we got Mexican food at one of those good hole in the wall places.
Pretty awesome day overall, ngl.
