Like, I'm literally from Ohio and this movie feels like it's properly set in Ohio while being filmed in Texas. Which isn't too surprising because a lot of some other Texas filmed movies from the time have similar vibes. But like the bleachers/football field scenes are super accurate to a lot of our local high schools at the time and the inside hallway scenes and classrooms are very comparable.
