I'm having some problems with trying to watch films again and again, a few months ago I tried to start watching Scorsese's films starting from the beginning, it was confusing and daunting, I looked forward to watching mean streets and Taxi Driver but it was confusing me, trying to follow scenes, then I tried to Jonathan Demme's films early films, then I reached to The Last embrace and It was confusing me, then I tried to watch Paul Schrader's films and it sucked, I had to quit and and try to watch the American Gigolo again and again, but it was confusing me, all his early films, then I tried to watch Michael Mann's Thief and it's the same problems but worse, I get confused trying to follow and enjoy the action of the film, the cinematography everything, I decided to take a break for a while, just to finally finish of with David Lean's films, some of his films are confusing while the others are good and easy to follow, then I watched the last 2 films Bridge of River Kwai and Lawrence of Arabia and I got bored and confused trying to watch it, I decided to take a small break, and retry watching Ken Russell's films women in love? Now that is a great film, then I tried to watch The Devils, bad idea, I wanted to love it but my stupid mind can't take it, so I quit, then I tried to watch the music lovers and I wanted to love it, but it was so confusing, it left me with nothing but anger so I decided to stop midway through and watched anime instead because fuck my life
Every now and then I have to Wikipedia the plot while I’m watching the movie because I zone out at the screen.
>>222821520Unironically you're low IQ. You'll have to either give up or force yourself to "adjust" to the rythm of movies. Don't try to understand the plot and such, focus on frames/visuals first.
Holy zoomer.
