Today's movie night for me what kind of movies should I watch today
>>222826803Hijacking OPs threadSuggest tv shows/films for me to watchI just finished watching This is England and it sucked
>>22282680370's euro softcore flicks
>>222826803Laurel and Hardy>>222826824Marx Brothers>>222826826Buster Keaton
>>222826845You can’t just say people
>>222826859Just pick any. Also which one are you.
>>222826957I’m Marx brothers and honestly slapstick from the 1930s just doesn’t sound very interesting
>>222826968Night at the Opera. It isn't slapstick, that's Laurel and Hardy.
>>222827000At the risk of sounding like a zoomer it’s a comedy from 90 years ago. I really don’t want to watch that
>>222826803Bloodsport (1988)
>>222827015>>222827000not that there’s anything wrong with old media I read Shakespeare and I’ve read the Odyssey. I just watched Withnail and I like two nights ago but 90 years ago a comedy like why would I enjoy that? That’s really not a very appealing thing to me, I’ve seen Nosferatu which is an older film, but that stood up because it was dramatic and good. I don’t know. Maybe I just have bad taste. I wrote this using text to speech because I’m lazy
>>222827015Bro you star through 1 hour 40 minutes of a bad movie but can't take in 90 minutes of an actual classic? Lol. LMAO. R O F L even.https://ok.ru/video/333307120291
>>222827046Yes, you have bad taste. Remember Titanic? Where Leo basically stows away with the other poors? Night at the Opera is like that.
>>222827015>>222827046How young are you zoomers? I started watching 1930s movies and a lot of them are really good. Sure they're not paced or edited like modern quick cut slop, but even all the Universal Monster movies from the 30s/40s can be pretty good. For me its the Wolfman.
>>222827096Bro I’ve seen Nosferatu I’m not a zoomer. Comedies are different because humour evolves so much over time. I’m gonna be watching more as an appreciation piece rather than an actually good film because I’ll be acutely aware every second that people do not talk or interact like this at all
>>222827178Just sip your beer or soda and watch the first 15 minutes. Otherwise put on Eating Raoul.
>>222827096I don't think it really matters what age you are. you could easily enjoy any movie no matter how old it is
cherrypick some Twilight Zone episodes
>>222827216I feel bad now. Anon, I will put Night on the Opera on my watchlist and I promise you I will watch it over this weekend.
>>222827221Yeah but some people are allergic to old movies. To me, besides some dates dialogue of things that people don't even say today (two hits) I think Marx Brothers movies are still pretty good.>>222827225The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" (Season 1, Episode 22)Miniature (S04E08)The Old Man in thr Cave (S05E07)
>>222827283Two bits*I have a cold.
>>222826803whatevers on Tubi
>>222827283Pretty sure alot of zoomers are a big fan of old movies in the 70s-90s. Which isn't surprising since a good movie is a good movie no matter how "dated" it could be at times.
