Super Troopers 2 sucked.
Lets be real. All Broken Lizard movies suck. They do. But they're funny in spite of that. Its just how they do it. Its dumb but it hits right.

>>222835565Super Troopers, just like the majority of stoner/dude comedies of the late 90s early 00s was a product of its time. We're too jaded and cynical and overexposed to nonsense all day now. The baseline for our sense of humour is fucked. These movies were vaguely 'edgy' at the time with their glorification of drugs and sex but seem very pedestrian by today's standards.Too much self-awareness or narcissism in our zeitgeist now for this sort of naive, good natured comedy to do well any more. If anything it'll just feel dated.
