I'm trying to think up some "favourites" that I can tell normies as to not reveal my true power level. For film, Lawrence of Arabia seems ideal. It's genuinely in my top 20, it's masculine and easy to recommend and everyone's heard of it. For video games, i'll probably say AoE2. Makes me look like the cool, smart kind of boomer who just plays old shit for nostalgia. Literature? Maybe The Trial, most will read it and assume they don't get it. Naming some Dosto or Tolstoy is too obviously performative. For songs I don't know, I might go for something lighthearted like California Dreamin. I will never reveal my real personality to anyone.
