I rewatched Toy Story 4 and it was way better than I remember it being. Maybe it's just Toy Story 5 making it look great in comparison

5 feels like the first movie for gen z kids, ti was so scatterbrained and all over the place. 4 has a coherent story that it sticks by from beginning to end, it isn't zipping around to make sure kids are paying attention

It's such a nice looking movie.faking film grain has become so commonplace these days and some do it well, most do not. The way its applied here is so subtle and tasteful that most people probably didn't even notice it. It just gives a nice texture to the image. While it wasn't a necessary sequel, it's at least cool that they went all in on it. Same cannot be said for 5.
