It's impossible to make a good musician's biopic while they're still alive or within 70 years of the artist's death because to play their songs, you need to reach an agreement with the copyright holders not to paint them in bad light. That is, unless someone comes up with a movie where the song sequences are silent and it's the audience who's supposed to play the music, kinda like video game romhacks
