This was funnier than I thought it would be. Steve Martin makes a movie starring Eddie Murphy but Eddie Murphy doesn't know he's in the movie. If you like jokes about the film industry you might like it

Bowfinger was the last truly great film that either of them was in.

NO IT WAS NOT. I remember going to the movies with my Uncle and Cousin and him picking THIS instead of Saving Private Ryan. Holy TRASH.

Chubby Rain DEEZ NUTS, OP.
>>

Yeah Saving Private Ryan is definitely better, but it's a totally different kind of movie. If someone's after a comedy then this one was entertaining with a weird premise I hadn't seen before

ERMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

That sucked

"Would you be willing to cut your hair for a role?"

Unironically this, the 90s practically ended here, with Steve Martin and Eddie no longer making any hit comedies

Because you need that ALIEN LOVE.

I liked how they cast Heather Graham as a Heather Graham type slut trying to fuck her way to success.

did you know? Steve Martin plays the banjo

>this nigga ain't seen Norbit
>>
>>222879945
I thought the friendship between the two really didn’t work as well as it could have (compared to similar older 80s/90s film)
It’s like the film is ending and Steve and Eddie become Best friends when the only set up is that Steve Martin feels bad for him because his brother is a huge star and he’s a loser
A minor point ? Perhaps but look at stuff like Plains trains and automobiles or Midnight Run
The films are good but the friendship that grows between the two main characters is what pushes them into Klassic Komedy Kino

I was genuinely pleased when wesley snipes showed up.
Also checked.

This film suffers from Netflix aesthetics.
The cinematography/set design/ costumes all look like a modern streaming flick
They should have spent more time/money on making it look 70s

The only person who saw Norbit was a blind cyclops.

Tim Curry: 80 years old and worked with muppets
Dolly Parton : 80 years old and worked with muppets

Everyone in the 70's with a SAG card appeared on sesame street or the muppet show.
Unironically singing a parody duet with Miss Piggy was considered "Making it."
As well it should have been, the muppet show was nothing but pure hearted entertainment for the sake of pure hearted entertainment.

the muppets were reddit slop

thanks for your underage brown contribution to the thread, but rest assured, if anyone wants your opinion on anything they just need to check the toilet.

I'd call the first Shrek great but that'd be it for Murphy. Martin's filmography post-Bowfinger is abysmal.

This movie played on cable everyday day so it was an oddball movie to get into as a kid. Didnt even realize the scientology angle. Graham was in the slideshow.

unironically Eddie Murphy's best performance
