You don’t even believe that lie yourself. He’s a bad actor. After Star Wars, he was offered another big project, but it flopped and got terrible reviews, especially for his acting, and they had to cancel the next two films. He kept trying after that, but his acting ultimately led him into obscurity

He can act well but the abysmal dialogue made people think he couldn't. Look at Anakin's facial acting in Episode 3 and tell me that that's not insane work. Star Wars is also kind of a career killer unless you're Harrison Ford.
