I would have preferred the show to be more episodic or with smaller arcs where its a cheeky neo-noir private eye show where she's hired or reluctantly roped into investigating smaller things that would only happen in a capeshit universe while occasionally having a bigger arching conspiracy everything hints towards. That way you could play with tone episode to episode without everything feeling disjointed.
