I watched for a long time out of loyalty. I wanted to keep liking the show, I'm not a cynical person and genuinely tried them with an open mind. But the seasons past 12 were legitimately awful. Maybe one or two decent episodes per season, at best. I could get into my actual criticisms, but I know you aren't really interested in hearing them and would just dismiss them no matter what I say, so I'm not going to bother wasting my time on that discourse. This is just the way I feel and you can choose to take it in good faith or not. I will say that I stopped around season 15 or 16, and I have heard that the latest season or two are somewhat of a return to form. That might be true. I hope it is. I just lost interest.

At that point the show was going long enough for them to be “embarrassed” by some of the older episodes bluer humor which was already uncouth at the time is I guess more uncouth today.
