If they detect you have a soul, literally nothing you do or do not do will be correct or enough in their eyes. Socialized normies are sadists.
>>223027581This consideration is obvious. The more subtle mind conceives of the following: because the hypothetical is situated around the turn of the milennium, just before such nonsense became "mandatory" (much of it didn't yet exist just yet), it is quite feasible to imagine that an otherwise competent new hire fell through the cracks (thus being hired on) without this check being performed. Then a year or two passes, he naturally bristles at all the stuff in the OP, and then eventually when confronted he just says what I just said.Of course, he is promptly ousted, or ostracized until he just quits, which is what everyone really wants, including him. But the real point here is that on the way out, he is in a position to break the normie's brain with something that she cannot conceive of.

whats the ideal job for an antisocial with no qualifications? librarian? museum guard?
>>223027861to add, this is also a reason boomer CEO types hate the idea of remote work. how are they supposed to literally brainwash you into thinking the company is your personal friend when you dont even have to come to the office?
>>223026597>>223027637This is being overly-social, there used to be a middle ground but it's been taken from us.These "exercises" are exclusively the fault of women. None of was happening to this degree until HR started accumulating disproportionate power in the workplace, because as companies expanded in workers, so had the people mediators to too. Given that the former side is technically diverse and thus atomized, and the other is one huge monolith of extroverted drones, and has unilateral sway to dictate the terms of your stay, the extroversion became the expected norm and failure to comply independently of objective technical merit became accepted. Basically a corporate mafia that rooted itself into the upper echelons of hierarchy only thanks to the merits of the hard work of educated white men who provided the financial situation that begat us this.

>>223027861>its manufactured and intentional corporate culture to socialize you into the company and make you feel that your job is more than your job, its your life.well OP's movie and that whole trend from the late 90s were all about lamenting that your job wasn't more than your job so we got what "we" asked for I guess. What I don't get is why this was a Gen X hangup but millennials were the ones to materialize the alegria dystopia. Perhaps older Gen X raised to become CEOs?
>>223027861>make you feel that your job is more than your job, its your life.I don't think it's exactly that, more that a generation of bubble-drunk boomer ceos started seeing their sales lines plateauing because of an inevitable innovation contraction and competitors catching on, and instead of jacking up pay (which honestly wouldn't have done much for their bottom lines) they instead look for marginal productivity gains in teambuilding and such, essentially a hail mary by an out of touch managerial class that stuck because of sunk cost.
>>223028169The shitbull apoligia is insane as well. Ive seen people walking around with them acting like they're any other dog. the only "team building" type activity that iver ever seen that worked at all and that i actually liked was just having a movie play on some tv during the work day and you could talk about it and riff with your co-workers since youre all watching ityou could pick movies that you wanted to show people and during free time you could just look over and watch some instead of just staring at your screen or checking your email that you know doesnt have any new emails but this wont work for a medium to large company because 90% of movies will have some form of wrong think or something inappropriate in them but my boss dropped nigger bombs for fun so it was never an issue

Thankfully I am in a large office with only 2 other people. There's another department in the next office with no separation that are loud but it's not too bad. The 2 people that sit near me are not doing the same job and we rarely have anything we need to work on together. They are separated 10-15ft from me which is fantastic. I don't need to speak to many people daily, my boss is in another country and we have a 10 min meeting every week. Apparently I'm known as the guy who doesn't speak to anyone, but I do say morning or hi to people like in the kitchen or whatever, I'm just not interested in a full conversation.Yes I'm anti-social but it's because the more time I spent with people the more horrible I found it.

Part of what makes it fun is the sheer freedom of it. It’s the lack of even accidental optimization metrics applied to the event. There’s no multi-level calculations of reactions to reactions required about what happens if you wear a blue shirt rather than a black shirt. It’s all just natural and laid back as Hell. Those “sanctioned fun” events are like a robot trying to manage a zoo of humans. It’s all artificial and it’s used to subtly remind you that “we even program your fun for you…we define what is fun if you don’t have fun now that we have ordered you to do so then there is something wrong with you.” It’s a roundabout way to enforce compliance and break your spirit. A movie called "Anonymous Alcoholics"4 male protags are shown in their various lives, each from a different board and economic class/lifestyle. Movie takes place over 1-1.5 days. At first each glance each character seems like a normal person in his own way but as the day progresses their degeneracy comes into sharp focus.Intros:/tv/ guy is shown in a clean apartment having a beer while watching a movie. Camera pans to collection of liquor bottles in the kitchen and clock reading 4:00am./fit/ guy is shown finishing a set at the gym, sunrise just peeking up through the bay windows in the background. Next he's shown walking to his car post-shower holding a protein shake. Once in the driver's seat he adds copious Bacardi to it./r9k/ guy seems like a normal 19/20yo guy living with normal parents. They're having breakfast in a nice house. He returns to his trashed room that looks like the image of the steel reserve guy passed out at his computer. He cracks a beer as he sits down to his desk./biz/ guy, well dressed is doing morning team building exercises in a bright open concept office. He is clearly not having fun. When it's over he returns to his desk and takes a long pull from a flask. They all eventually meet each other throughout the day and crazy night.

>>223037085Next scenes:/r9k/ hears his parents leaving for work. He gets up and looks out the window and watches both cars pull out of the driveway. He finishes his beer while getting dressed to leave and stuffs a few tallboys from his mini-fridge into a backpack, cracks a new one, and heads out./biz/ is at his work desk, someone pops by and reminds him of a meeting in 15min. He cheerfully thanks the person for the reminder yet instantly looks miserable as soon as they turn to walk away. He goes to the bathroom and finishes his flask in a stall and starts chewing a piece of gum./fit/ is shown in a busy intersection outside his car, which was rear-ended at red light, car needs to be towed. He's clearly nervous about the strong drink in the cupholder and his system. He's downplaying the incident to the very apologetic driver that hit him. They exchange info and decide they don't need police involvement. You did well.>Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

>>223044852>Nah, most people seem quite smart and driven and capable.>seemThat's the keyword here anon.
I'm a North European sperg in the root and was especially during child/youth years, and I get that in USA this forced meme socializing culture at work etc is even more overblown so it's close to non-existent where I live in comparison. That said, even as a sperg I understand the concept where unless you are fully established and impossible to replace after 30 years of doing your job exceptionally well, then people are not going to trust you and it will hinder how the workplace flows, if you always move to your own desk to eat or drink coffee alone and don't attend enough social events everyone else goes to and shit. You might do your job well and have zero wrongdoings to your name, doesn't matter and doesn't work that way and has worked that way for very select few occasions in known history.Of course that said, modern life and many jobs are fake or jew daycare for women etc and the system does very shit job at recognizing spergs for their hidden potential. They actually openly wants spergs to kill themselves if they are white and have one wrong opinion. I suppose nazis were better at this because while they sterilized drooling autistic people with 60iq (like every other country before and even after ww2), they had some ideas what spergs are even before Asperger made it up by 1944.But it's very ironic seeing 30 years ago no one was diagnosed in sperg spectrum other than adhd which everyone talked about but now you 50% of women and celebrities are autistic people and actual spergs are people who the system wants to kys because they might be dangerous, like recognize patterns etc so zero hope in this regard.
