Dark city and existenz are classic svi fis that went under the radar in the 90s. Only discovered them years later. Dark city got ola it ed I mexican tv but existenz was a dvd discovery.

Probably the most idealistic and thus weakest part of the books juxtaposed with modern day. In reality, they were already known quantities and would have been eliminated as threats.

I think with AI actors you could do a very close to book accurate mini-series of Ender's Game, rated R. Just don't skin past Petra, yeah?

I know Prospect is known around these here parts, so I'll add:

The different faction on earth now that its the kids and want them to lead earth. I want all of the characters! Ender's shadow especially. Rotterdam and the street urchins would be devasting to film.

I think Ender's Game is 10/10, i don't consider anything else in the series as readable, so my opinion is only in regards to EG.

You are sleeping on ender's shadow. Pure literary kino!

This is a social media site with user-generated topics, open for discussion. How about you add to that conversation, take a little piece of yourself and put it out there.
Otherwise it just looks like you're coping for the fact you have nothing of value to say, so you try to drag the conversation down into endless petty insults, something that a toddler could even do.

Its the best of the short lived 'aliens in the hood' genre. A lot of people get it mixed up with the much inferior "Kin" starring James Franco.

I remember how the young guy in Pandorum must have been some kind of industry plant because he was all of a sudden appearing in a bunch of movies at that time despite the fact that he couldn't act. Then just as quickly he disappeared.
>>
>>223041823
Ben Foster, he really was in everything
>His films include The Punisher (2004), X-Men: The Last Stand and Alpha Dog (both 2006), 30 Days of Night (2007), The Messenger and Pandorum (both 2009),[2] The Mechanic (2011), Contraband (2012), Kill Your Darlings and Lone Survivor (both 2013), The Program (2015), Warcraft (2016), and Leave No Trace (2018). He has won an Independent Spirit Award for portraying Tanner Howard in Hell or High Water (2016).[3] He also had a recurring role as Russell Corwin in Six Feet Under (2003–05).
He was also in 3:10 to Yuma with Bale and Russel Crowe.

This.

But in greater context the meta-premise of this thread is that current ear movies are so bad lame that movies of the past that were once written off now seem genuinely watchable in comparison. Supernova fall squarely into that category. Same with Avp Requiem despite the movie being so underlit that much of the movie is difficult to see. Its easily better than the dogshit that was Alien Earth.

Not a movie but a tv show. It takes place 300 years in the future after humanity got wiped out by an alien invasion. Its on Prime right now. Its from 2017 and was written by Orson Scott Card but got buried because it was on some off brand network at the time.

You will think its cheesy at the start but if you stick with it you will end up binging the whole thing because the story is actually pretty kino. I ended up binging the whole thing in like two days.
