GET A GOD DAMN JOB
>>223049847i can’t get a job without losing my welfare and making less than I did before i’m literally trapped in poverty
>>223049847YOU REEK OF SHITDO YOU KNOW THAT?
I got one this year, really liked the days and hours but hated the work/not the type of shit I should be doing at 27, so then I moved on after six months and now I’m at a job where it looks a lot of people stay for life and I’m fine with it, but… feels like game over.
>>223049847Funny how the movie took out all the racist shit and the use of the n word
>>223050202kinda psychotic behavior ngl
>>223050242Asking for a tip is nigger behavior to be fair
>>223050202Being mean to service workers for no reason is usually a sign that you're an absolute piece of shit.
>>223050202I think the movie tried to make Bateman too soft and wacky sometimes. Sure he kills people, but sometimes his actions are just cartoony and absurd. From what I get, in the book he is clearly written to be a complete asshole and not because of some casual racism but he just hates people. Even himself
>>223050306>My job is servitude (the literal root word of service, from the Latin servus meaning slave)If you can't actually live by "the customer is always right," get another job. But you won't, because you can't survive anywhere else on actual merit.
>>223050657found a piece of shit
>>223050693This is how society fundamentally functions. You can't change reality, commie faggot. Be thankful you're not a ditch digger...yet.
>>223050306Yeah, I wasn't sure about Bateman after he did all those murders, but when I found out he did a heckin' racism? Straight to my piece of shit list right alongside Drumpf!
>>223050759i bet you felt real tough writing that
OP reeks of shit
>>223050344The movie has to be wildly different from the book. You can't really adapt books into movies in my opinion, especially a post modern one like this where the form plays a major function. At most you can adapt a plot or a storyAnd as just a series of events, American Psycho is tremendously boring. Even the author believed a faithful adaptation would've been impossible and he was right, but he still liked the movie. I enjoy both but they're radically different experiences
>>223049847I'm starting to think this Bateman fellow is a real jerk.
