I feel like a good 15-20 minutes could have been trimmed from this movie, but otherwise I still really enjoyed it overall.Way funnier than I thought it would be. Got a laugh from me because of how absurd it was.Also way less horror focused than I expected it would be from the trailers. It's very action focused. The final act is pretty much a giant chase scene like in Mad Max. And the directing of the action sequences is all really good (minus the cheap CG).Anyone else seen Hope yet?

Surely they had to run it by someone first, right? There are so many questionable narrative/story issues, bizarre sequences and dialogue that I lost count. The first half hour or so was pretty good, if a bit cliche, but the best way I can describe the rest would be if I tried to explain filmmaking and epic alien invasion action mega movies to aliens themselves, who then used an early version of chat gpt and a bunch of drugs to make a script for 3 different movies which were then made with an unlimited budget, only to be cut into one long movie at the last minute. The final result is Hope. Jesus Christ.
