Fucking again?
Stop it with the kingslop
>>
>>223084604
>brown girl is her only friend
but of course
>>
>>223084604
The 5th Carrie movie lmfao.

If only they did this for movies like Children of the corn, pet semetary, even the fucking shining.
>>
>>223084604
yes, this needs to be dragged out to 10 hours
>>
How many times have we done this? Jesus just stop.
>>
>>223084704
I'm surprised they still make girls the bad guys.
but it's white girls so I guess its okay.
>>
>>223084725
just stop posting you deluded cunt
>>
>>223084604
IT HAPPENED THAT MANY TIMES?
>>
Based they should keep making these until all bullies are dead.
>>
>>223084604
The period scene becomes more and more unrealistic as time passes especially as society becomes more comfortable with things like pornography and access to technology. There’s a very small chance à girl wouldn’t know she’s on her period unless she’s incredibly sheltered or her parents just don’t tell her anything. Her mom being religious doesn’t matter because like I said access to technology. Oh well. I’m interested in seeing the prom scene at least

Again? Seriously?
>>
>>223084834
It's been longer between now and the remake, than the original and remake. Let that set in...
>>
>>223084638
Shush, you chud. This is a story about a female being opressed. No one cares about your dead pets or whatnot.
>>
she just wants to go to school bros ;_;
>>
>>223084834
Lmao it’s a remarkably easy film to remake

>bullies
>female empowerment
>period jokes
>Iconic revenge sequence
>Shitting on religious people

It’s a miracle it hasn’t been remade more.

>>223084873
Fair enough
>>
It's not a movie, and it's by Flanagan. The cast is also great. This is going to be fantastic.
>>
>>223084604
Seriously tho this story was never /that/ good.
>>
>>223084825
>society becomes more comfortable with things like pornography
Not the USA lol.
>>
>>223084884
>>223084638

LMAO i just realized it’s a show. I figured it was at first but found the idea too ridiculous to be true. I don’t know how they’re going to do this without dragging it. Hopefully it’s a limited series
>>
I'm only watching for more Agent Paul Ballard
>>
>>223084895
It is. Are you retarded or something? Flanagan is mostly doing mini series and he's the best at it.
>>
>>223084913
Well I didn’t know. Hopefully it turns out well. I’ll probably check it out anyways.

>are you retarded or something

Yes
>>
Flanagan does revenge tales really well.
His Poe series with the Masque of Red Death adaptation was great.
>>
>>223084604
Do we really need 4 fucking adaptations of Carrie? The original 70's film is kino, they don't need to keep remaking it.
>>
>>223084925
Just saying. If you complain about remakes, watch his stuff. He mostly uses the IP to sell it to the studios but does completely new shit with it. Even his fucking Ouija board movie is kinda good.
>>
>>223084937
The 2002 remake is really good. I think a remake was necessary but not to this degree
>>
>>223084946
What’s it called
>>
People in this thread suspiciously high on Flanagan. My guess is there is some botting going on.
>>
>>223084604
Is there enough in the premise to worth dragging out an entire series?
>>
>>223085031
You could theoretically delve into some of the ancillary characters stories a little deeper, but I don't see how it could ever be stretched beyond one season because it has to end with Carrie destroying the prom and the rest of the town and her mother
>>
>>223085031
Eh sort of

They can spend more time exploring the religious mother, the personal life of Carrie and her bullies, more period jokes, and more of a build up to the prom scene, especially where they get the pig for its blood. Just the concepts in the movie explores in greater detail really
>>
>>223084604
She cute.
>>
>>223085059
The destruction of the prom and the town could be stretched into like 3 episodes alone, maybe even 4 if you spend an episode making the prom seem all happy and shit.

Blows my mind that Carrie is white. With how things are these days, I could see them making her black and making the bullies racist.

>>
>>223085215
Maybe they should make the girl white and the bullies black since you want to be a victim so fucking bad
>>
>>223085289
>I could see
>>
>>223084884
Say that again?
>>
>so here's that incredibly ugly girl we were talking about
>>
>>223084782
someone didn't dilate today
>>
>>223084604
The last time this happened, we had a chance to see Chloe's tits, but that didn't happen. I cannot assume this remake of a remake has anything to offer me.
>>
>lillard
alright
>>
Carrie is on the short side of King's books, I don't see how they are going to make it 8 episodes without feeling slow and dragged out. Flanagan's The Haunting of Hill House was 10 episodes long, and it could have been 2 episodes shorter, I have a feeling this show will be the same.
>>
They just remade this shit like 10 years ago.

Stop with the remakes already, jesus assfucking christ.

a show about a murderous mother?!!!!
>>
>>223085886
>without feeling slow and dragged out
hopefully by heavily expanding on and changing the story and characters.
that's the only way Flanaghan's time won't have effectively been wasted.
>>
>>223084610
Grrlboss with OP abilities? They'll remake those forever.
>>
>>223084638
Pet semetary got recently butchered. Made the kid that comes back a girl, and of course she wins instead of dying like the original story. Daddy issues all around
>>
>>223085950
That's only at the end. For the majority of the movie she's just a cunt.
>>
>>223085031
They could show us all the different American high school tropes but with Carrie reacting to them. Might be slop but I think it could run fine for two whole seasons.
>>
>>223086352
this is supposed to be a horror story right?
>>
>>223084894
lol the west loves porn.
>>
Wait, why do burger schools have security like it's an airport
>>
>>223086636
because black people attend.
>>
>>223084638
there have been multiple adaptations of all of those lmao
>>
>>223086374
I guess...

But who wouldn't want to see Carrie navigate the complexities of the Sadie Hawkins dance?

They could have her putting up with more and more bullshit from the students and faculty until finally on prom the audience is 100% on her side.

I thought the remake was pretty good. The zombie girl was cute!

>The incident in Chamberlain, labeled the "Black Prom", makes national news with 440 reported casualties, including the majority of the graduating seniors. The rest of the town, unable to recover financially or emotionally from the tragedy, begins to shut down, with many survivors relocating. Desjardin and the school's principal blame themselves for not reaching out to Carrie sooner and resign from teaching. A congressional commission investigates the Black Prom to discover what truly happened, concluding they must prepare for future incidents.
>Sue Snell is scapegoated and blamed for triggering Carrie. In response, she writes a memoir recounting her experience and expressing sympathy for Carrie, while haunted by the memory of Carrie's death.
>The novel ends with a letter from an Appalachian woman to her sister about her four-year-old daughter, who has begun to exhibit telekinetic powers. She compares the child to her grandmother, who also possessed these powers, and concludes that the child is destined to be even more powerful.
How about instead of retreading the same movie a dozen times you make a sequel that explores the consequences of what happened?
>>
>>223084891
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I finally watched the original. One of the most 5/10 movies I've ever seen.
>>
>>223084604
It has cute girls, so I shall be watching.

Is Nikki from obsession in this
