I know it's supposed to be "high" fantasy but it feels like tolkient overdoes it.Every sword and blade of grass has a 20.000 year old backstory but sometimes a sword is just a sword and that's ok.Which is not to say that it should have focussed on aragorns tax policy or incest.But like, a healthy balance maybe.
