The photographs on the wall are a simple assertion of their Italian culture and identity. If you walked into any restaurant in the world and asked them to change their decor to suit you, you'd be barred for life.No matter what Spike meant by this film it's pernicious and horrible and invalidates anything else he has ever made or will make.

Spike Lee fans the racial hatred of blacks towards whites, and he's been doing it for decades now. His movies, interviews, and talks are all about how much blacks should hate the white man. Outside of the Honorable Minister Farrakhan, I don't know of another black man who has spread more racial hatred towards whites in the last 40 years. Spike Lee is dangerous, and I feel like this presidential administration should look at imprisoning him.
