>>223174402It eventually falls apart. They were shorted a season by USA and had to wrap it up. But until then, it’s fantastic.
the first season was interesting because it had more overtly political and anti-capitalist themes. but after that, they seemed to have lost their nerve, and instead transitioned to making the show about psychodrama instead.
>>223174673It definitely bitched out. In the first season they used real brands, names, b-roll of real world events. They got nerfed

s1 and s2 are okdrop it after that, its trash
Show is retroactively garbage because in the last episode it turns out he was in a coma all along and all the stuff that happened in the show (Evil corp lol, hacking conspiracies, schizo nonsense) was not real. It was all in his head and the entire show is about getting over trauma and living in the "real world". That's it. Amazing stuff.
>>223174402Not really. It's all shit after season 1.
>>223175917really?

>>223174402It has the greatest variance in episode quality I've seen in a series. Some episodes were ultrakino, some were okay, one episode in particular was about as entertaining as staring at my wall and imagining a better episode. The general consensus seems to be every season dropped in quality. I disagree. I'd say they were all roughly equal, but the show lost focus on both plot and genre halfway through before being like "Oh shit guys we're wrapping up, I guess we should finish the whole hacking thing", doing that, and then throwing in some... weird shit. I didn't understand the ending. I don't think anyone did desu.
>>223175917They couldn't find a way to do both hacking ad the trauma stuff? Lame
