Gave it a watch thinking maybe it was a gem that suffered from Disney fatigue, but it was worse than the Boba Fett season.

Insane how they fucked up a wknning formula as fast as they found it.
>>
Just get excited for new product: The Movie, is why. My mom wouldn't even go see it.
>>
>>223179648
It's like they took a bad filler episode and turned it into a movie. It wasn't even bad or poorly made it was just boring. I don't understand the point of it. Why waste a mandalorian and baby yoda movie on this? They could have wrapped up the story or at least set up a final season
>>
>>223179648
I liked it. Kinda.
>>
if you could watch more than 10 minutes of the first episode of the first season and not want to shut it off youre not very bright
>>
>>223180895
It was boring, but it got good towards the end of the season, then it stopped being good.
>>
>>223180550
It was because Dave Filoni couldn't secure another full season, so he settled for condensing about 4 episodes he had written into one movie. No idea why he or Lucasfilm thought any of this was worth making though. Season 3 ended in a way that felt like it suitably ended their story, this nothingburger doesn't justify its own existence.
>>
I enjoyed silver amor spaceman goes on sci fi adventures actually
>>
>>223180556
What a retard
>>
>>223179648
It was perfectly average, but had good parts, like Mando being hunted in the jungle. Mando is too much of a superhero in this movie
>>
>>223181147
Star Wars needed one in the W column because the streets... they were talkin'

Mando/Grood was their safesty bet and it wasn't offensive to anybody but in the worst way: quality
>>
>>223179648
it isnt terrible, it's just pointless. they'd already gone and ruined the show and there was no reason to make a movie
>>
>>223179648
It was actually quite good
>>
>>223180556
Me too. It's just big dumb fun. Nothing wrong with that. I'd rather watch this than most of the Star Wars junk that's coming out these days.
>>
its hard to tell if its the studio or filoni himself who decided to violently shit the bed on the show then the movie. mando season 1 was widely lauded as being the only good star wars show/movie since the OT, which it was, so either jews got their hooks into it and used it to advertise the 7 dogshit spinoffs and rape its corpse, or filoni just went crazy with wanting to expand his cartoon lore.
>>
>>223182495
to add to my own post, andor was great all the way through, so i'm thinking it was indeed filoni who fucked over the mandalorian.
>>
>>223179648
I'm honestly shocked that the same Director that made Iron Man also made the Mando movie. The dude should have known better

>Andor
1. Andor was a very slow burn TV show. I'm not saying it was bad (I enjoyed watching Andor), but I understand why it's not for everyone and why some people didn't want to watch it.

2. Also Andor suffers from the problem that most people were not was interested in watching a TV show about a dead character from a Side movie from over 10 years ago. No one was saying:
>"I really want to watch a TV show about that Andor character!"

3. Andor suffers another writing issue where the show is called "Andor" but the side characters are more interesting and better written than Andor himself. The show should have never been named "Andor". It should have been named something like

>Star Wars: The Birth of Rebellion
Or
>Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Or
>Star Wars: In the Shadow of Power
Or
>Star Wars: The Age of Fear

Something that is more related to the theme of the show. Andor sounds so generic and weak.

4. I watched the show and enjoyed it. Although the ending was BS. Luthen should have never been caught. Their hidden base should have never been found. Total nonsense.
>>
>>223179648
I had low expectations do it didn't disappoint too badly. The very in-shape Hutt was less capable that I though he would be though.
>>
>>223182759
Yeah S2 implies the rebellion was never inside the tendrilly system.
>>
>>223182759
why does someone have their AI writing shit like this?
>>
>>223182959
Anon thinking every 1024x1024 image is AI lol
>>
>>223182959
Why do we get brainless responses like yours.
>>
>>223179648
>it was worse than the Boba Fett season.
Ridiculous hyperbole.
Mando was bad but Fett was like 6 hours of even worse quality. You're suffering from recency bias
>>
>>223182495
>l if its the studio or filoni himself who decided to violently shit the bed on the show then the movie
Why not both?
>>
>>223179648
>what if we write a story about a boba fett guy and a baby yoda?
Soulless money grabblers
>>
The Mandalorian was interesting to the degree it ripped off classic westerns. On this occasion they had a go at noir (rescue someone that doesn't want to be rescued, turns out the client just wants to kill them) and it didn't really work.
From its sugarrush pacing and faux violence (its robots/monsters again) clearly aimed at young teens. I thought it was fun but I wouldn't watch it twice.
>>
>>223179648
Please, it was way better than Book of Boba fat. That one was a complete disaster.
>>
>>223180556
Same. It was inoffensive fun. But Star Wars is dead and it was too little too late.
>>
I thought it was pretty good. I liked the music. I haven't watched anything theyve put out in years thoughbeit.
>>
>>223183064
>You're suffering from recency bias
Recency bias would make him think the Mando and Yeed movie was better than Book of Fat Boba.
>>
>>223180895
Coal take, the first season was just a Star Wars pastiche of good westerns, entirely enjoyable just for that. It did begin to fall alart in the second season when too much of the obviously cartoon originated donut steele shit was added though
>>
>>223179648
Didn’t see it. Probably never will. Star Wars is dead.
>>
>>223185723
That's not how it works. Recency bias isn't "everything recent is better". Recency bias is "the feelings I have for everything recent are stronger than the feelings I have for everything older".
You see and then hate something new, and you stupidly proclaim it the worst thing ever made because that feeling is fresh and raw in your mind.

hutt jr
gtfo disney
idiots
>>
>>223182759
"Star Wars: Empire" would have been good. They could have taken ten total minutes from Andor's subplot slop for a few throne room/senate/Inquisition scenes.
>>
>>223183645
They pulled a Lucas and went too heavy into bad cgi, Hutts only work as setpieces.

Disney Wars would be significantly improved if they just paid a few white guys to do practical effects and build puppets/animatronics/ship models again.
>>
It pissed me off that zero yeed info was revealed, made the whole thing feel completely pointless. The phil tippet stuff was the only interesting part but so many of the sets and other effects were just shit. It absolutely felt like two tv episodes shoved together.
>>
It's actually a misunderstood classic in waiting.
>>
>>223184657
The first couple eps of the boba fett show were kino and better than this movie
>>
Oh we have to do a u-turn because the guy that Jabba Jr. was fighting for is also the imperial officer we were working to find in the first place. Small universe.
>>
>>223185868
>made the whole thing feel completely pointless
It wasn't pointless. It reminded senile boomers on facebook that they had baby yeed memes to share with their friends and family
>>
"Jabba's son" and "glup shitto will appear" killed my interest in the franchise hard enough that I never want to see or hear anything related to mando again
