No idea why he or Lucasfilm thought any of this was worth making though. Season 3 ended in a way that felt like it suitably ended their story, this nothingburger doesn't justify its own existence.

its hard to tell if its the studio or filoni himself who decided to violently shit the bed on the show then the movie. mando season 1 was widely lauded as being the only good star wars show/movie since the OT, which it was, so either jews got their hooks into it and used it to advertise the 7 dogshit spinoffs and rape its corpse, or filoni just went crazy with wanting to expand his cartoon lore.

The Mandalorian was interesting to the degree it ripped off classic westerns. On this occasion they had a go at noir (rescue someone that doesn't want to be rescued, turns out the client just wants to kill them) and it didn't really work.From its sugarrush pacing and faux violence (its robots/monsters again) clearly aimed at young teens. I thought it was fun but I wouldn't watch it twice.

It pissed me off that zero yeed info was revealed, made the whole thing feel completely pointless. The phil tippet stuff was the only interesting part but so many of the sets and other effects were just shit. It absolutely felt like two tv episodes shoved together.
