There was once a really great synthwave playlist that I got off of a /vg/ thread that I set my alarm to play on my PC. At the time it never occurred to me that it would get deleted or that I should've saved the list. I haven't been able to find anything as good as that playlist.

There was a guy on YouTube like in 2015 who uploaded a video who modded Super Smash Bros Wii(?) to have ridiculous visuals and random photos of women’s asses for backgrounds and animations. His commentary of it was so cringe but hilarious but I can never find that video again after like 10 years.

Youtube still doesn't allow exporting playlists?
>>
>>223181558
What is she up to nowadays?
>>
YouTube deleted a Playlist with tons of relatively short & obscure videos on it due to it supposedly """violating TOS rules""" (they didn't tell me WHICH rule it supposedly violated or how, obviously, of fucking course not).
Ignoring for a second the obvious pain in the ass that has provided for me as a user of their platform, i.e. that I'm NEVER going to be able to find all those videos again and even if I somehow could it would be a incredibly time-intensive and tedious process, I ask you this: How the fuck does a YouTube PLAYLIST "violate the rules" of the platform?
I literally just compiled a Playlist of videos THEY hosted on their platform that I found funny. Was there a problem with the actual videos themselves? Then shouldn't the individual video that was supposedly a problem just be flagged or deleted or whatever? Not Playlists CONTAINING it?
It wasn't like the anything that I had control over, like the name of the Playlist, was anything that anyone could possibly take issue with either. It wasn't like I named the Playlist "NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER" or anything; it was literally just a Playlist titled "Funny Short Videos" or some shit. Nor was anything on it even remotely TOS-violating IN the videos I added to the Playlist, as far as I know. Nothing beyond just arguably slightly "edgy" humor, of which there's a plethora on the platform and always has been, with no apparent issue.

To this day that still pisses me off. It was likely entirely automated, like most things on YouTube are, but it feels like something somebody would do from a position of power behind the scenes just fuck with some randomly selected person for laughs. "Hey Jed, watch this...boom, that 300+ video Playlist? Gone...", that sort of thing. Just completely needless, pointless, unnecessary shit solely to inconvenience/piss off someone who uses your platform (i.e. the whole reason they ever get any money, because advertisers use the platform to reach people like me).
>>
>>223181697
I legitimately don't get how YouTube made their search function so shitty without the necessity of them actively TRYING to make it shittier. It seems like the kind of thing you can't just do "on accident" or "unintentionally".

Oh how I wish this was true. In reality, an incomprehensible amount of online content has been lost to time. Websites shut down, servers die, and archives are very often incomplete and innadequate.

Why does the search function suck so bad on YouTube? Trying to find diy car stuff is a pain. A lot of it is AI and doesn't relate, who is making this shit? Is there an alternative to youtube?

>Muh AI, muh AI, muh AI bad
Niggers, YouTube's Search-function getting shittier rather than anything that could be called "better" looooong predates the comparatively recent emphasis on AI. People were complaining about this exact same shit with YouTube's Search-function, i.e. "the video I want doesn't come up even if I type in the EXACT title!", etc., since around like 2017, i.e. almost a fucking decade ago by this point.

Bro, owning a car doesn't make you "special" according to anyone. Not in any First-World Country, at least. Or if you're over the age of like 16. Cars and car-ownership are just a necessary but affordable part of mundane daily life if you're anything other than chronically unemployed, a junkie, etc. It's not something anyone's gonna' brag about.
I think you may have been a NEET for too long. It's starting to affect your perception and understanding of "normalcy".
>>
>>223181644
Yeah and dont try even googling the exact video title
SEO killed the search engine
