Sinestro had his moment of fear and doubt and reacted poorly, and I took him in because of it... but I wonder, all these years later, would he have reacted the same? Would I?I think the Guardians intentions and attempts at empathy are genuine, but they fail, like anybody else. I imagine Hal Jordan recognized this in retrospect because as he was being mentored by Sinestro, Sinestro himself was doubting the Corp, which is why Jordan seems like such a douchebag to John; he's not going by the script that failed him.
