The wider internet then copied 4chan memes and culture, particularly early Reddit, which was dudebro-4chan. Early reddit was full of porn and gore, basically a clone of /b/ and later, /tv/. It peaked with rickrolling, baneposting and prequelmemes. 4chan being the eternal contrarian, then declared a fatwa that such lolrandumb "reddit" humor is now haram.
