The fuckers knew what they were doing with this movie. A family moves to a South East Asian country to restart their lives. A terrorist group takes over the area and civilians are caught up in it. One of their daughters was enjoying herself by the swimming pool as the terrorism starts and it gave the writers excuse to see this little girl in her swimsuit for a large portion of the movie.
