Damn this was shit, didn't feel like a Bond movie at all, more like some straight-to-VHS slop
>>223185116Btw I suck cocks.
>>223185116>straight-to-VHSI keep hearing this argument but I dunno. It's on the same level as some of the weaker Roger Moore entries.
I love Carey Lowell!
>>223185116Timothy Dalton came into the role at a bad time. Too much competition from Stallone, Willis, and Shwarzenigger.
>>223185211Talisa Soto mogged her hard in that movie
>>223185233
meanwhile OP thinks Goldeneye is good
>>223185272I do but that is irrelevantWatched The Living Daylights yesterday and it was awesome. This feels inferior in every imaginable way.
>>223185290>Watched The Living Daylights yesterday and it was awesome. This feels inferior in every imaginable way.I agree, the Living Daylights is my favorite of them all, but LTK is third or fourth best for me
>>223185116Damn, your zoomer brain is shitty. One of the biggest crimes is that the world only got two Dalton Bonds.
>>223185116Its because it was influenced by the popularity of Miami Vice. The Cuban villains are fucking terrible.Benicio Del Toro falling into a shredder was hilarious though.
>>223185358Dalton is fine, its the american setting and accents, as well as overall garbage direction/editing/script that I have an issue with. Just feels cheap all around

>>223185504Nah, you're wrong.
>>223185116all (yes ALL) of the old bond movies just plain suck, the Craig movies are the only real bond movies
He has the driest quips, drier than his martinis. Bond movies are supposed to be a bit fun. Craig era ruined this. Now Bond's some angry incel faggot.
>>223186342>>223186342>Now Bond's some angry incel faggot. This is a Dalton thread, not a Craig one.
>>223185116It's probably because most Bond films are about Bond tackling some kind of grandiose international conspiracy whereas LTK is about Bond going on a revenge rampage against some random South American drug dealer because his buddy and his new wife got whacked. To be fair Quantum of Solace had a similar setup with Bond obsessing over getting vengeance for Vesper but that's just a lead-in to your typical Bond story about tackling a vast international conspiracy whereas with License to Kill the revenge aspect IS the whole story. It does have a pretty sweet theme song though.
>>223185116The look is terrible due to them using cheap Mexican film stock but it's one of the better Bonds in terms of story and the actual portrayal of Bond himself.
>>223185116>you could have had everything>don't you wanna know why?>*flashes lighter before lightning the fucker on fireKINO.
