An adaptation being closer to the original, doesn't mean is good by default. Movies and SAC were better.
Original manga was kind of bad so the adaptation is kind of bad. Movie did the Puppet Master plot way better and SAC is better overall.
Is SACtoko the nicest and most caring of all Kusanagis? She is honestly the only one with real good intentions, who display real empathy for other people, take her job very seriously, and behave like a mature woman, she loves smiling in good moments.OSHIItoko is good too but she is too depressed and dissociated, she is convinced deep down that she is not a real person but an android with false memories and it made her extremely fucked up in her head, she enjoy nothing anymore.OGtoko (from this show too) is funny and goofy but she is a bitch and has done many morally questionable things, she doesn't truly care about people and displayed narcissistic behavior many times.
