The Film Festival is just an excuse for gags and I'm fine with that. There's a few duds.
I always thought the Critic was a Simpsons character. Blew my mind when I found out he had his own cartoon series.

>>223188095>>223188879Oddly enough, I saw The Critic before I ever saw an episode of The Simpsons, because we couldn't get Fox over-the-air and didn't yet have cable. The Critic was initially on ABC, which we did get, and it was sandwiched for part of its run between Dinosaurs and Home Improvement, both of which we regularly watched, so I saw at least a bit of it. My mother HATED it, though and tended to want to change the channel whenever it came on (she had heard all kinds of bad things about The Simpsons on talk radio, so she was prejudiced against it to begin with).
