I am watching all the GB movies in release order and just got this one. No trolling, I liked it a little. More than GB2 at least. Half the jokes are pretty bad, the other half got me like the coffee joke. Leslie Jones is easily the worst part of the movie. Kate McKinnon was cringe but Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig I thought were fine. I liked the og cast cameos and the wider variety of proton weapons was really cool. Grenades, shotguns, vacuums, pistols and traps. I liked the new ghosts too like the balloon parade.Overall I give it like a 6.5/10. Not as bad as I was expecting after ignoring it for 10 years. I am going to watch Afterlife now. Hope is better.

This movie really feels like a fever dream in retrospect. The build up, controversy and promotion was massive and then the movie bombed hard and was completely forgotten about after. Even during the woke era people couldn't admit this shit was a good idea

At least on something like instagram you can take a selfie or on youtube you can make a gardening tutorial. Twitter is literally "nothing". People's lives aren't interesting so naturally they gravitate towards endlessly shit talking, bullying, moralizing, or having witch trials. Using twitter the "right way" would mean making mundane posts about your day: you went to the store, bought some milk, etc. Boring shit. Screeching into the void, and screeching the loudest is how you win.

Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan are about as clueless as Paul Feig and Katie Dippold about what made Ghostbusters work. They've all done good stuff in their respective careers (Bridesmaids, Widow's Bay, Monster House, Juno, Thank You For Not Smoking), but their Ghostbusters movies are contemptible garbage.
