I've managed to forget almost everything about that film. I knew it was doomed when Emma was slouching her way through the opening song and it just wasn't working. Little did I know that was actually one of the high points. But the mouse made their money so who cares if the movie is actually shit, right? I saw Cocteau's version again on the big screen recently, totally magical. No comparison. Not even a comparison Disney's animated version since that was a believable magical setting. The live action remake was just humans in front of a green screen with token props.
